I agree with 164 as being the next level. If we get there quickly the yen would also be massively oversold and would be a good entry point to buy the yen for a trade. Ideally I would like to see US rates to go higher for a couple of days and not see the yen selloff as a possible reversal indicator.

Yes, I think the JPY comes to turn around soon or later, perhaps not this month but in the near future yes, I think so. My reasons why I think so is due to the nature of the market to get saturated over long period of time and the USD/JPY pair have been so hight for years now so there is a very big chance for those that invest today in this pair to get a real hack if they go short soon. Just for the gravity reason, so anything that goes up comes down too soon or later.
